The principle first

The content of your email never leaves your machine. Outlink runs locally, inside your Outlook. Our servers never see your messages, your contacts or your attachments — only the data strictly required to manage your licence and your subscription.

Data collected and purposes

• Account and billing (name, email, payment data): processed by our provider Stripe for subscription and invoicing. We never store your card number; we keep your name, your email and the subscription identifiers.
• Licence (key, anonymised technical fingerprint of the machine, device name, software version, IP address, verification timestamps): required for activation, fraud prevention and support. Verification history retained for 90 days.
• Support (email, content of your message): used only to reply to you.

Legal basis: performance of the contract (subscription, licence, support) and legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention). No data is sold or used for advertising. The site sets no tracking cookies.

Recipients and processors

• Stripe (payments): see their policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare (site traffic protection and routing).
• Our infrastructure host (European Union) and our transactional email provider.

Retention periods

• Account and licence data: duration of the subscription + 3 years.
• Technical licence-verification history: 90 days.
• Accounting records: 10 years (legal obligation).

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. To exercise them: [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
